How To Make Pretzels and Mixed Nuts Snacks

These mini, twisted mixed nuts are coated with caramel for a sweet, crunchy snack! Enjoy crunchy bites of sweet-savory pretzels and nuts all in one bowl.

  • 15ozmini twist pretzels
  • 2cupsmixed nuts
  • 1cupunsalted butter
  • 2cupsdark brown sugar,packed
  • ½cuplight corn syrup
  • pinchsalt


  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.

  2. In a 9×13-inch baking dish, combine the pretzels and nuts. Set aside.

  3. In a large saucepan, combine the butter, sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Stir together over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.

  4. Bring to a boil and cook until very thick and at the ‘firm ball’ stage of 260 degrees F.

  5. Remove from heat, then pour over the pretzel/nut mixture, then mix together.

  6. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes. Remove from oven and spread out on wax paper to cool.

  7. Serve and enjoy!
