How To Make Rosemary Nuts

Rosemary nuts are an easy appetizer of mixed nuts that have been infused with rosemary, cayenne, dark brown sugar, salt, and butter.

Ingredients

  • cupsunsalted mixed nuts,such as pecans or cashews
  • 2tbspfresh rosemary,chopped
  • ½tspcayenne pepper
  • 2tspdark brown sugar,packed
  • 1tspkosher salt,or to taste
  • 1tbspunsalted butter,melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil. Combine nuts on baking sheet and toast for about 5 minutes in oven until warm, fragrant and lightly golden.

  3. In a large bowl, combine rosemary, cayenne pepper, brown sugar and butter.

  4. Add the warm, toasted nuts to the spiced butter and toss well. Add kosher salt and toss to coat thoroughly. Serve warm.
