How To Make Green Beans with Cherry Tomatoes
Lightly boiled green beans are tossed in a butter-basil sauce and served with juicy cherry tomatoes to make a tasty and nutritious side dish.

Ingredients
- 1½lbsgreen beans,trimmed and cut into inch pieces
- 1½cupswater
- ¼cupbutter
- 1tbspsugar
- ¾tspgarlic salt
- ¼tsppepper
- 1½tspfresh basil,chopped
- 2cupscherry tomato,halves
Instructions

Place beans and water in a large saucepan. Cover, and bring to a boil.

Set heat to low, and simmer for about 10 minutes until tender. Drain off water, and set aside.

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in sugar, garlic salt, pepper and basil.

Add tomatoes, and cook stirring gently just until soft. Pour the tomato mixture over the green beans, and toss gently to blend.
