With this instant pot baked beans recipe you’ll get the taste of summer in a hearty bowl of kidney beans, pinto beans, and northern beans!

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1yellow onion,finely diced
  • 2red bell peppers,finely diced
  • 15½ozkidney beans,rinsed and drained, roughy 1¾ cups
  • 15½ozpinto beans,rinsed and drained, roughy 1¾ cups
  • 15½oznorthern beans,rinsed and drained, roughy 1¾ cups
  • ½cupketchup
  • ¾cupwater
  • cupdark brown brown sugar,unpacked
  • 1tbspyellow mustard
  • 1tspchili powder

Instructions

Instant Pot Directions:

  1. Add the ingredients to the insert and stir them together well.

  2. Place the lid and lock. Set to Manual, High pressure, and set for about 8 minutes.

  3. Once finished, natural pressure for about 10 to 15 minutes, then quick release.

  4. Stir before serving.

Slow Cooker Directions:

  1. Add the ingredients to the slow cooker and stir them together well.

  2. Cover and cook on Low 6 to 7 hours. Stir before serving.
