
How To Make Green Beans in Cider
These easy and mildly sweet green beans make an appearance. Flavored with cider and onion, the slightly tarty hints are topped with the goodness of bacon.

Ingredients
- 16ozgreen beans,(1 package) frozen
- ½cupapple cider
- ½tspolive oil
- 2tbspbacon,real, bits
- ½cuponion,chopped
- Salt and black pepper,ground, to taste
Instructions

Combine green beans and cider in a microwave-safe bowl; cover with plastic wrap.

Cook in the microwave on high for 5 minutes; stir beans. Return and cook until tender for 5 minutes more. Remove beans with a slotted spoon and transfer to a serving bowl; reserve cider.

Heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat; cook and stir bacon bits and onion in the hot oil until onion is tender for 5 to 10 minutes. Pour cider from green beans into the skillet; simmer until liquid is reduced for 5 minutes.

Spoon bacon mixture over green beans. Season with salt and black pepper.
