How To Make Broiled Feta with Cherry Tomatoes and Capers

Briny feta baked with juicy cherry tomatoes and salty capers makes this broiled feta a delicious cheese dip for your favorite snacks!

  • 8ozfeta cheese
  • 2tbspextra virgin olive oil
  • 2garlic cloves,roughly chopped
  • 10.5ozcherry tomatoes
  • ¼tspsalt
  • tsppepper
  • 1tspsugar
  • tbspcapers,drained


  1. Preheat the broiler and set the oven rack in the top position. Place the feta in a small 1½-quart baking dish and set aside.

  2. Heat the oil in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 to 2 minutes, until lightly golden.

  3. Add the tomatoes, salt, pepper and sugar; cook, stirring frequently, for 2 to 3 minutes, 2 to 3 minutes until the tomatoes are softened and starting to burst.

  4. Remove from the heat and stir in the capers.

  5. Scatter the tomatoes around the feta and broil for about 4 minutes, until the feta is softened and browned on top.

  6. Serve with crackers, and enjoy!
