Ingredients

  • 4 slices of crusty bread
  • 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 4 balls of burrata cheese
  • 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast for 5 minutes, or until crispy.

  2. In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  3. Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spread a generous amount of the tomato mixture on each slice.

  4. Place a ball of burrata cheese on top of the tomato mixture on each slice of bread.

  5. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
