
How To Make Homestyle Stuffed Peppers Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 bell peppers (any color)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 zucchini, diced
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cut off the tops of the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add the diced onion, minced garlic, and diced zucchini to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened.

Stir in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until all the flavors are combined.

Fill each bell pepper with the ground beef and rice mixture, packing it tightly. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish.

If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each stuffed pepper.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
