Ingredients

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1 cup of chopped nuts (such as pecans or walnuts)
  • 1 cup of milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of sweetened shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, flour, sugar, and salt. Mix until well combined.

  3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

  4. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the crust, followed by the chocolate chips and shredded coconut.

  5. Press down gently on the toppings to make sure they adhere to the crust.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the coconut is toasted.

  7. Allow the squares to cool completely before cutting into individual servings.
