Salmon Patties Recipe

  • 16 oz salmon cleaned
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup onion minced
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 ½ cups crisco


  1. Drain cleaned salmon and set aside 2 tbsp of the liquid.

  2. Mix salmon, egg and onion until sticky. Stir in flour. 

  3. Add baking powder to salmon juice. Stir into salmon mixture.

  4. Form into small patties and fry until golden brown in hot crisco, for about 5 minutes.

  5. Serve with tartar sauce.
