How To Make Honey Mustard BBQ Chicken Wings
These crispy chicken wings will let you experience layers of flavor – sweet and spicy, smoky, and a little hint of earthiness – much like KFC’s fried chicken.
Add the salt, pepper, and flour to a large Ziploc bag.
Place the chicken inside the Ziploc bag and shake until well-coated with seasoning.
Refrigerate for half an hour then shake the bag again. Refrigerate another half hour.
Heat canola oil to 375 degrees F.
Add the chicken about 10 pieces at a time to the hot oil. Fry for 12 to 14 minutes.
In a small saucepan, add the mustard, honey, bbq sauce, and whole grain mustard.
Stir on low heat until combined and just bubbling.
Toss the wings with the honey mustard bbq sauce and serve immediately.
