  4. Carefully place the coated fish fillets into the hot oil and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

  5. Remove the cooked fish from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  6. Serve the crispy fried fish hot with tartar sauce or lemon wedges.
