
How To Make Crispy Buffalo Fried Tortellini
Get frying on these tasteful fried tortellini and served with a spicy sauce! They make the perfect little afternoon treats and take only 15 minutes to make.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 9ozcheese tortellini,1 package, uncooked
- oil,for frying
For Breading:
- 1½cupspanko bread crumbs
- â…“cupflour
- ½tspgarlic powder
- salt and pepper
For Egg Dip:
- 4eggs
- 2tbspflour
- ¼cupmilk
For Sauce:
- â…“cupbutter,melted
- â…”cuphot sauce,like Frank’s Red Hot
- blue cheese,or feta cheese for garnish, optional
Instructions

Preheat the deep fryer or oil to 350 degrees F.
Breading:

Mix the panko bread crumbs, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large Ziploc bag.
Egg Dip:

Whisk together the eggs, flour, and milk, then place them in a separate Ziploc bag.
Dredging Tortellinis:

Toss the tortellini in small batches with the egg mixture.

Remove the tortellini, letting any excess egg drip off.

Reserve the egg mixture.

Add the tortellini in small batches to the breading mixture and shake gently to coat.

Continue until all tortellini is coated with breading.

Once coated, repeat the breading process using the reserved egg mixture and tossing the tortellini a second time with the breadcrumbs.

Fry the tortellini in preheated oil in small batches for 2 to 3 minutes or until crisp and browned.
Sauce:

Head the melted butter and hot sauce.

Mix until well combined.

Toss with the hot tortellini.
