Easy Churro Cheesecake Bars Recipe

How To Make Easy Churro Cheesecake Bars

Take a gander at some creamy, cheesecake bars for dessert! These unique, easy-to-make bars are perfectly flaky like churros.

Ingredients

  • 2salted buttersoftened
  • 2cupslight brown sugar
  • 2eggs
  • 2tspvanilla
  • 1 ½tspbaking powder
  • 1tspsalt
  • 2 ½cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cream cheeseblock, softened
  • 1egg
  • 3tbsplime juice
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1tbspcinnamon
  • ¼tspchili powder
  • ¼cupsugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar. Then, add in the eggs and vanilla.

  2. Once combined, add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix gently until it makes a smooth dough. Set aside.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese, egg, lime juice and sugar until smooth. Set aside.

  4. In another small bowl, mix together the cinnamon, chili powder, and the remaining ¼ cup of sugar. Set aside.

  5. Line a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.

  6. Sprinkle a third of the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly in the prepared pan.

  7. Spread half of the dough over the cinnamon sugar layer.

  8. Sprinkle another third of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the dough layer.

  9. Layer the cream cheese mixture next.

  10. Spread the remaining cookie dough mixture over the cream cheese layer, then top with the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.

  11. Bake in a 350 degrees F oven for 35 to 45 minutes, or until golden brown and no longer jiggly in the middle.

  12. Cool, then serve and enjoy!
