How To Make Easy Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).

  2. In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy and smooth.

  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the sour cream until fully incorporated.

  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust in the springform pan.

  6. Smooth the top with a spatula to create an even layer.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.

  8. Remove from the oven and let the cheesecake cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

  9. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to firm up.

  10. When ready to serve, remove the sides of the springform pan and transfer the cheesecake to a serving plate.

  11. Slice and enjoy!
