How To Make Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake

This brownie cheesecake is what dessert dreams are made of, made with a creamy cheesecake layer sandwiched between two layers of fudgy brownies.

Total: 1 hour 15 minutes



For Brownie Batter:

  • ½cupunsalted butter,melted
  • 1cupsugar
  • 2large eggs
  • 2tspvanilla extract
  • cupunsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½cupflour
  • ¼tspsalt
  • ¼tspbaking powder
  • 1cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips

For Cheesecake Layer:

  • 16ozcream cheese,room temperature
  • 2large eggs
  • ½cupsugar
  • 2tspvanilla extract


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9-inch springform pan with baking spray.

  2. To a stand mixer, add the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  3. On low speed, add in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder then add in the chocolate chips.

  4. Add half of the brownie batter to the springform pan.

  5. Bake for 15 minutes, then let cool completely.

  6. In a second bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla until smooth.

  7. Gently spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer, then spoon the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese and swirl with a knife gently.

  8. Bake for 40 minutes.

  9. Let cool completely before refrigerating until completely chilled.

  10. Serve chilled, and enjoy!
