How To Make Cilantro Lime Rice

Upgrade your usual white rice with this cilantro lime rice. The addition of cilantro and fresh zesty lime make the white rice a perfect dish for your meals.

  • 1cupbasmati rice,or long grain white rice
  • 1bay leaf
  • ¼tspsalt
  • 2cupswater
  • ½lime juice
  • ½cupcilantro,finely chopped


  1. Rinse rice and drain well.

  2. Bring rice, bay leaf, water, and salt to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 15 minutes or until water is absorbed.

  3. Remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork.

  4. Stir in lime juice, cilantro, and salt to taste. Serve.
