How To Make Cauliflower Rice

Our easy-to-make cauliflower rice recipe is definitely healthy and tasty! You just need three ingredients to prepare this nutritious rice substitution!

  • 1large head cauliflower
  • 1tbspolive oil
  • salt and pepper,to taste


  1. Rinse and shake the cauliflower dry.

  2. Cut into quarters, removing any outer leaves or tough stems.

  3. Coarsely grate the cauliflower in a large bowl or pulse in a food processor in small batches, until the cauliflower is the size of grains of rice.

  4. Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick pan and cook the riced cauliflower for about 5 minutes or just softened.

Recipe Notes

The cauliflower rice can be oven-roasted on a foil-covered pan at 425 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes, or until slightly dried and fluffy. Stir once halfway through cooking.
