How To Make Spanish Omelette

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced


  1. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with salt until well beaten.

  2. Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

  3. Add the thinly sliced onions and cook until they become translucent.

  4. Add the thinly sliced potatoes and continue cooking until they become tender.

  5. Pour the beaten eggs over the potatoes and onions in the skillet.

  6. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the edges start to set.

  7. Flip the omelette using a large plate and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

  8. Slide the omelette back into the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes or until cooked through.

  9. Transfer the omelette onto a serving plate and slice into wedges.

  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
