  • 8 eggs
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 tsp of salt

Instructions

  1. Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil.

  2. Gently add the eggs to the boiling water using a spoon.

  3. Cook the eggs for exactly 6 minutes for a soft boiled texture.

  4. While the eggs are cooking, prepare a bowl of ice water.

  5. After 6 minutes, carefully transfer the eggs to the ice water using a slotted spoon.

  6. Let the eggs sit in the ice water for 1-2 minutes to stop the cooking process.

  7. Gently tap the eggs on a hard surface to crack the shell, then peel them under running water.

  8. Serve the soft boiled eggs immediately with a sprinkle of salt.
