How To Make Strawberry Sheet Cake

Rich in tart flavor, this strawberry sheet cake combines white cake mix and strawberry jello for a moist dessert, topped with a pink cream cheese frosting.

Total: 40 minutes



  • 16ozstrawberries,rinsed and with tops cut off
  • 1boxwhite cake mix
  • 3eggs
  • ¾cupoil
  • 3ozstrawberry jello

For Strawberry Frosting:

  • ¼cupbutter,softened
  • 4ozcream cheese,softened
  • 1tspvanilla
  • 3cupspowdered sugar
  • ¼cupstrawberry puree


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Add strawberries to a blender or food processor and blend. This should make 1 cup of pureed strawberries for the cake batter and an additional ¼ cup for the frosting.

  3. Mix cake mix, eggs, and oil in a large bowl until well combined. Add jello and 1 cup strawberry puree. Mix well.

  4. Pour into a greased 9×13-inch pan.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes. Let cake cool.

Strawberry Frosting:

  1. Cream together the butter and cream cheese. Add vanilla, powdered sugar, and strawberry puree.

  2. Frost cake. Serve and enjoy.
