  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp milk

  2. Add in the vanilla extract and milk. Mix until the icing reaches a creamy consistency.

  3. If the icing is too thick, add more milk, 1 tablespoon at a time. If it is too thin, add more powdered sugar, 1/4 cup at a time.

  4. Once the desired consistency is reached, use the icing to decorate your wedding cake.
