How To Make Strawberry Cake with Jell-O

  • 1 box of strawberry Jell-O mix
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • 1 cup of cold water
  • 1 package of strawberry cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, diced
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Fresh strawberries, for garnish


  1. Preheat the oven to the temperature stated on the cake mix box.

  2. In a large bowl, dissolve the strawberry Jell-O mix in boiling water. Stir in the cold water and set aside.

  3. In a separate bowl, prepare the strawberry cake mix according to the package instructions, using eggs, vegetable oil, and water.

  4. Fold in the diced fresh strawberries into the cake batter.

  5. Grease a cake pan and pour the cake batter into it.

  6. Carefully pour the Jell-O mixture over the cake batter in the pan.

  7. Place the cake pan in the preheated oven and bake for the time stated on the cake mix box.

  8. Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool completely.

  9. Top the cooled cake with whipped cream and garnish with fresh strawberries.

  10. Serve and enjoy!
