How To Make Strawberry Banana Split Cake

The sweet blend of strawberries, banana, and pineapple on top of the all-time favorite graham cracker crust makes this recipe a must-have at family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup butter , or margarine, melted
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter , or margarine, softened
  • 2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 1 Tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 firm bananas, cut into 14 inch slices
  • 8 oz crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 qts fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • ¼ cup confectioners sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine the crumbs, butter, sugar, and press into an ungreased dish.

  2. Chill for 1 hour.

  3. Cream the butter, confectioners sugar, milk, and vanilla in a mixing bowl,

  4. Spread over crust chill for 30 minutes.

  5. Layer with bananas, pineapple, and strawberries.

  6. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream until soft peaks form.

  7. Add confectioner's sugar beat until stiff peaks form.

  8. Spread over fruit.

  9. Sprinkle with nuts.

  10. Chill until serving.
