This chocolate cake recipe is simple and oh so good! Feel free to alter the type of flour or sugar to your sweet preference. What makes it different from other chocolate cakes is that hint of sour cream.
How To Make Oh So Good Chocolate Cake
- 3 cup flour sifted and measure after sifting
- 2 cup Splenda or sugar or blend
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp cocoa unsweetened
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cup lukewarm water
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- nuts optional
- frosting optional
- Mix dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Add canola oil, lukewarm water, vanilla and sour cream.
- Mix well and pour in greased 9x14-inch cake pan or bundt cake pan and bake 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Frost if desired.
