How To Make Moist Chocolate Cake

You can never go wrong with a decadent and moist chocolate cake! With hints of vanilla and brewed coffee for a delightful twist on the classic dessert.

  • 2cupsall purpose flour
  • 2cupswhite sugar
  • ¾cupunsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2tspbaking soda
  • 1tspbaking powder
  • 1pinchsalt
  • 1cupmilk
  • ½cupvegetable oil
  • 1tspvanilla extract
  • 1cuphot coffee,brewed
  • 2eggs


  1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, soda, and salt.

  2. Add the oil, milk, vanilla, coffee, and eggs; beat well. The batter will be thin. Pour into two 9-inch greased and floured round pans.

  3. Bake at 325 degrees F for 25 minutes, or when the top springs back when done. Cool the layers on wire racks.

  4. Serve and enjoy.
