Ingredients

  • 1 box of white cake mix
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • 1 package of Jell-O gelatin (any flavor)
  • 1 cup of cold water
  • 1 cup of whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the cake mix instructions.

  2. Prepare and bake the white cake mix in a 9×13-inch baking pan as directed.

  3. Once the cake is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.

  4. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake.

  5. In a bowl, dissolve the Jell-O gelatin in boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.

  6. Stir in the cold water and carefully pour the Jell-O mixture over the cake, making sure it fills the holes.

  7. Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours or until the Jell-O is set.

  8. Before serving, spread whipped cream over the top of the cake.

  9. Slice and enjoy!
