How To Make Humdinger Cake
Taking after the image of hummingbirds, this Humdinger Cake offers a remarkable flavor from pineapples, bananas, pecans, and its cream cheese frosting!

Ingredients
- ½cupbutter,softened
- 15¼ozyellow cake mix,(1 package) such as Betty Crocker®
- 3eggs
- ½cupwater
- 8ozpineapple with juice,(1 can) crushed
- 2large very ripe bananas,mashed
- 1cuppecans,chopped, optional
- 1cupcoconut,shredded, optional
- 16ozcream cheese frosting,(1 container)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Beat the butter in a bowl using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.

Add the cake mix, eggs, and water. Mix until the batter is just combined.

Stir the pineapple and bananas into the batter.

Fold the pecans and coconut into the batter, then pour into the prepared baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.

Cool the cake in the dish for 10 minutes, before turning onto a wire rack to cool completely for about 30 minutes.

Spread cream cheese frosting over cooled cake.
