These cake-like pumpkin bars are flavored with pumpkin puree and flavorful spices blended with cream cheese frosting perfect for a holiday dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2cupsflour
  • 1⅓cupssugar
  • 2tspbaking powder
  • 1tspBaking Soda
  • tsppumpkin pie spice
  • ½tspsalt
  • 4eggs
  • 15ozpumpkin puree
  • 1cupVegetable Oil
  • ½cupbutter,softened, unsalted
  • 8ozcream cheese,softened
  • 1tspvanilla
  • 3cupspowdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, spice, and salt in a bowl.

  3. Add remaining ingredients and stir just until combined.

  4. Pour into an ungreased 10×15-inch baking pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

  5. Cool completely and frost with cream cheese frosting or top each serving with whipped cream.
