How To Make Fat Free Chocolate Cake

  • non-stick cooking spray
  • 1 ¼ cup flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 egg whites
  • ½ cup corn syrup, light or dark
  • 1 confectioners' sugar, optional


  1. Spray 9-inch square pan with cooking spray.
  2. In large bowl combine next seven ingredients.
  3. In medium bowl stir sugar and water until sugar is almost dissolved.
  4. Add egg whites and corn syrup; stir until blended.
  5. Gradually add to dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
  6. Pour into prepared pan.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

  8. Cool in pan on wire rack.
  9. If desired, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
