How To Make Cookies ‘n Cream Chocolate Cake

This decadent chocolate cake layered with smooth and creamy cookies-and-cream frosting, topped with cookie crumbs! You’d be surprised with 1 ingredient!

  • 4⅕ozCookies ‘n Cream Instant Pudding Mix,(1 package)
  • ½cuplow-fat milk
  • 1tspvanilla,optional
  • 8ozlight cool whip,(1 carton) or fat-free cool whip, thawed
  • 9mini Oreos,chopped, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the dry cake mix and the Diet Coke.

  4. Whisk together until just combined. Do not overmix.

  5. Bake for 25 to 28 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  6. Cool completely.

Frosting:

  1. Whisk together the dry pudding mix, milk, and vanilla until combined.

  2. Fold in ½ of the cool whip and then fold in the remaining ½ of the cool whip.

  3. Spread over the cooled cake.

  4. Garnish with chopped Oreos, if desired.

  5. Cut into 15 squares and serve.
