How To Make Cookies ‘n Cream Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 10 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 4 chocolate sandwich cookies, for decoration
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a round cake pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the flour mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.

Fold in the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely.

Once cooled, spread the whipped cream over the top of the cake.

Garnish with the remaining whole chocolate sandwich cookies.
