
How To Make Cherry Sheet Cake
Pretty and definitely eye-catching, this sheet cake has a moist cherry jello cake base and a topping of smooth almond buttercream. Yum!

Ingredients
For Cake:
- 1pkgwhite cake mix
- 3eggs
- ¾cupoil
- ½cupwater
- 3ozcherry instant jello
- 10ozmaraschino cherries,drained
For Almond Buttercream Frosting:
- ¼cupbutter,softened
- 4ozcream cheese,softened
- 2tspalmond extract
- 3cupspowdered sugar
- 2-3tbspmilk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Begin by adding the cherries to a blender or food processor and blending.

Mix cake mix, eggs, oil and water in a large bowl until well blended. Add JELL-O mix and pureed cherries. Mix well.

Pour into a greased 9×13-inch pan.

Bake for 30 minutes.

Let cake cool.

While cake is cooling make frosting by creaming together the butter and cream cheese. Add powdered sugar, almond extract, and milk – blend well. Frost cake. ENJOY!
