  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly.

  3. Stir in the rolled oats and sliced almonds.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine the cherries, brown sugar, almond extract, and cinnamon. Mix well.

  5. Transfer the cherry mixture to a greased baking dish.

  6. Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the cherries.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the cherries are bubbly.

  8. Allow the cake to cool for a few minutes before serving.
