Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups of cake crumbs
  • ½ cup of frosting
  • 8 oz of candy melts, any color
  • Sprinkles or toppings of your choice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cake crumbs and frosting until well mixed.

  2. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a lined baking sheet.

  3. Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes or until firm.

  4. Melt the candy melts according to package instructions.

  5. Dip one end of a lollipop stick into the melted candy, then insert it into a cake ball.

  6. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy, allowing any excess to drip off.

  7. Decorate with sprinkles or toppings while the candy coating is still wet.

  8. Place the cake pops upright in a foam block or on a baking sheet lined with wax paper to set.

  9. Allow the cake pops to dry completely before serving.
