How To Make Apple Cake

Fluffy and sweet, this fruit-based cake is just the thing to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Apple Cake

  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 2 cup white sugar
  • 2 cup apples (chopped)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (powdered)
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg (powdered)
  • ½ cup walnuts 

Sugar Glaze

  • 1/4 tsp powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the unsalted butter and the sugar; add in your eggs one at a time while mixing.

  2. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the following dry ingredients:

    Flour

    Baking soda

    Baking powder

    Cinnamon

    Nutmeg

  3. Gradually add your dry ingredients into the mixing bowl with the wet ingredient. Combine them together before folding in your apples and walnuts.

  4. Pour the mixture into a bundt pan and bake at 325° for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

  5. Take it out the oven and let it stand for 15 minutes before removing from pan.

  6. In a small mixing bowl, whisk the powdered sugar with the milk until it reaches a creamy glaze consistency.

  7. Then sprinkle top your apple cake before serving.
