How To Make Almond Joy® Cake

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 tsp almond extract
- ½ cup sweetened shredded coconut
- ½ cup chopped almonds
- 1 cup chocolate ganache (store-bought or homemade)
- 8 Almond Joy® miniatures, chopped
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa powder, and granulated sugar.

Add the melted butter, eggs, milk, and almond extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.

Fold in the shredded coconut and chopped almonds.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan before removing.

Once cooled, spread the chocolate ganache over the top of the cake.

Sprinkle the chopped Almond Joy® miniatures over the ganache.

Slice and serve.
