How To Make Free-form Florentine Pie

Turning vegan may look challenging for some, especially for those who can’t turn their eyes away from meat. But they just haven’t found these sumptuous vegan recipes that even non-vegans will surely enjoy!

Preparation: 20 minutes
Cooking: 40 minutes
Total: 60 minutes

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry
  • 1 cup of chopped spinach
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese
  • 4 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Roll out one sheet of puff pastry and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the spinach, cheese, bacon, eggs, salt, and pepper.

  4. Spoon the mixture onto the center of the pastry, leaving a border around the edges.

  5. Carefully fold the edges of the pastry over the filling, creating a rustic, free-form shape.

  6. Brush the pastry with beaten egg for a golden crust.

  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is cooked through.

  8. Allow the pie to cool for a few minutes before serving.

  9. Slice and enjoy!
