How To Make Chipotle’s Cilantro Lime Rice

You’ll mistake this Cilantro Lime Rice for a dish straight out of Chipotle! This recipe tastes exactly like the real deal, you’ll opt-out from ordering!

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1cupextra long grain rice or basmati rice
  • ½lime juice
  • 2cupswater
  • 1tspsalt
  • 3tbspcilantro,fresh chopped
  • 3tspvegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a small heavy pot, add rice, water, 1 teaspoon of oil, and salt.

  2. Boil on high until most of the water evaporates. When the water just skims the top of the rice, reduce to low and cover for about 20 minutes.

  3. Shut off the flame and keep covered for an additional 5 minutes.

  4. In a medium bowl, combine chopped cilantro, lime juice, rice, and remaining oil. Toss until completely mixed.
