How To Make Vegan Falafel Wrap Recipe

Spicy, vegan falafel stuffed inside whole wheat wrap with fresh veggies and hummus.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of chickpeas, drained
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp of flour
  • 1 tsp of cumin
  • 1 tsp of coriander
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 whole wheat wraps
  • 1/2 cup of hummus
  • 1/2 cup of chopped lettuce
  • 1/2 cup of chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of chopped cucumber
  • 1/4 cup of chopped red onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. In a food processor, pulse chickpeas, onion, garlic, flour, and spices until crumbly.

  3. Form chickpea mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet.

  4. Bake for 10 minutes or until crispy.

  5. Warm whole wheat wraps in the oven.

  6. Spread hummus on each wrap, add falafel balls, and top with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.

  7. Roll up tightly and enjoy!
