How To Make One Bowl Baked Oatmeal
Baked oatmeal is a scrumptious breakfast casserole for the whole family. A concoction of soft, chewy, and creamy oatmeal topped with berries and walnuts.

Serves:
Ingredients
- 1¾cupsmilk,dairy or nondairy
- 2large eggs
- ½cuppure maple syrup
- ¼cupunsalted butter,melted and slightly cooled
- ¼cupunsweetened applesauce,or mashed banana
- 3cupsold fashioned whole oats
- 1tspbaking powder
- 1tspground cinnamon
- 1tsppure vanilla extract
- ¼tspsalt
- 1½cupsmixed berries,fresh or frozen, do not thaw
For Optional Topping:
- ½cupwalnuts,or pecans, chopped
Instructions

Adjust the oven rack to the lower third position and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9×9-inch or 11×7-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.

Whisk all of the ingredients together in 1 large bowl. Pour into a prepared baking pan. Top with nuts, if desired.

Bake for 35 minutes or until the center appears almost set. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Spoon or slice and serve with yogurt. Enjoy!
