How To Make Two-Tortilla Tacos
This extra loaded tacos recipe comes with layers of meat, cilantro, and onions, then topped with spicy salsa verde, for a delectable meal!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1tbspcooking oil
- 1cupmeat,such as chicken, pork, or beef leftovers, cooked, chopped
- 1garlic clove
- ¼tspchili powder
- 6corn tortillas,*
- ½small sweet white onion
- 1cupcilantro,chopped
- ¼cupsalsa verde,(green salsa)
- 1lime
Instructions

Put enough oil in one of the skillets to lightly cover the bottom. Heat the pan on medium heat.

Add the meat and the garlic to the pan. Heat through, stirring occasionally with the wooden spoon.

Rub a little bit of the oil on both sides of the tortillas.

Put the other skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high. Use the tongs to put the tortillas into the pan, and cook them one at a time for about 30 seconds on each side.
To Assemble:

Take 2 tortillas, and then spoon on a little meat. Add a sprinkle of the onions and cilantro, a spoonful of the salsa verde, and finish with a squirt of the lime.
