How To Make Homemade Taquitos

Make a tasteful Mexican dish tonight with our tasty taquitos recipe! It comes with a simple mix of chicken, cheese and salsa for a flavorful meal.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • ½cupsalsa
  • 3cupschickenor pork or beef, shredded
  • cupsMonterey Jack cheese
  • 1tbsptaco seasoning
  • 12corn tortillas6-inch
  • cupoilfor frying, or to brush with

Instructions

  1. Place salsa in a fine strainer and let the juices drip away.

  2. Combine the chicken, salsa, cheese and taco seasoning.

  3. Place tortillas on a plate, then top with a damp paper towel and microwave for 40 seconds or until warm.

  4. Place 2 tablespoons of filling on each tortilla and roll tightly. Secure with a toothpick and place on a baking sheet.

  5. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.

  6. Serve, and enjoy!
