How To Make Crockpot Chicken Tacos

You and your family will surely enjoy a bite of these flavorful crockpot chicken tacos with chicken, salsa, tomatoes, and more, slow-cooked to perfection.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 4chicken breast halves,skinless, boneless
  • 1cupsalsa
  • 1cuptomatoes with chiles,canned, diced, drained, or 1 can Rotel
  • taco seasoning,1 package
  • ½onion,diced

Instructions

  1. Combine the salsa, canned tomatoes, and taco seasoning in a bowl.

  2. Place the onions and chicken in the slow cooker, then top with the tomato mixture.

  3. Cook on Low for 7 to 8 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hours.

  4. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker, then shred them.

  5. Return the chicken to the slow cooker, then stir until combined.

  6. Serve in taco shells, and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

If preferred, skip the canned tomatoes and add 1½ cups of salsa instead.
