- 12Roma tomatoes,peeled, quartered, and seeded
- ¼onion,minced
- ⅓cupwater
- ½tspmustard seed
- ⅓tspdry mustard powder
- 1clovelarge garlic,minced
- 1bay leaf
- ⅛tspground black pepper
- ½tspsoy sauce
- salt,to taste
Instructions

Combine tomatoes, onion, water, mustard seed, mustard powder, garlic, bay leaf, and black pepper in a large, heavy pot over medium heat.

Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes. Stir soy sauce through the tomato mixture. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes.

Season with salt. Remove bay leaf to serve. Enjoy!
