
How To Make Quick Beef Chili
This beef chili takes only half an hour to cook, but is still full of rich and deep flavors from tender beans and beef, all simmered in a beer tomato sauce.

Ingredients
- 1lbground beef,(93% lean)
- ¾tspkosher salt
- ½small onion,chopped
- 1medium red bell pepper,chopped
- 15ozblack beans,(1can), reduced-sodium, rinsed, drained
- 10oztomatoes with green chilies,(1 can), mild, diced, drained
- ½cuptomato sauce
- ¾cuplight beer,like Corona, or ¾ reduced-sodium beef broth
- 1tspcumin
- ½tspchili powder
- ½tsppaprika
- ¼tspgarlic powder
- black pepper,to taste
Optional Toppings:
- red onions,chopped
- cilantro leaves
- lime wedges
- sour cream
- cheddar
- avocado
Instructions

Press the sauté on the Instant Pot, brown the beef and season with salt. Cook for 5 minutes, breaking the beef into ¾-inch crumbles and stirring occasionally.

Add the onion and bell pepper, then cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Add the beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, beer, cumin, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.

Cover and cook on high pressure for 20 minutes. Natural release.
