How To Make Italian Sausage and Bean Stew with Polenta

Filled with veggie sausage patties, this bean stew is a rich and hearty dish loaded with tomatoes and polenta. It’s a delicious & beautiful vegetarian dish.

Preparation: 20 minutes
Cooking: 5 minutes
Total: 25 minutes



  • 2tspolive oil
  • 2cantomatoes with basil,garlic, and oregano, diced
  • 2cancannellini beans,white kidney beans
  • 1pkgveggie sausage patties,crumbled
  • 1pkgprepared polenta,(cut into ¼ inch), slices


  1. In large saucepan combine olive oil, tomatoes, beans, and Morningstar Farms® Veggie Sausage Patties. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer.

  2. Fry polenta slices in a large skillet in olive oil until golden and crusty. This will take about 3 minutes per side. Spoon stew over polenta slices and serve immediately.
