
How To Make Poached Chicken
This poached chicken recipe is very easy to make and it’s flavorful and tender! Top with herbs for additional flavor and serve it with rice.

Ingredients
- 2boneless chicken breasts
- 1tsppeppercorn
- 1clovegarlic
- 2largeonion slices
- 1sprig each of fresh herbs
- 1bay leaf
- chicken broth
Instructions

Place chicken, herbs, peppercorn, garlic, onion and bay leaf in a shallow pan.

Pour in enough broth to cover chicken about ½ way.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.

Turn off heat, cover and allow to rest for 15 minutes.

Slice or shred chicken and reserve broth for use in recipes or to serve with chicken.
