Ingredients

  • 6 slices of vegan bread, cut into triangles
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 1/4 cup of coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup of chopped dates
  • 1/4 cup of vegan dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp of cinnamon
  • Vegan butter, for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with vegan butter.

  2. In a saucepan, heat the almond milk, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, dates, dark chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and cinnamon over medium heat. Stir until the chocolate chips are melted and the mixture is well combined.

  3. Dip each bread triangle into the chocolate mixture, making sure both sides are coated. Arrange the coated bread triangles in the greased baking dish.

  4. Pour any remaining chocolate mixture over the bread triangles in the baking dish.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden and crispy on top.

  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
