  • 6 Hawaiian rolls, sliced
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Whisk until well combined.

  3. Place the sliced Hawaiian rolls in the greased baking dish. Pour the milk mixture over the rolls.

  4. Press down gently on the rolls to submerge them in the milk mixture. Let it soak for 10 minutes.

  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the top.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
